I used to work in the rural area, basically a prerequisite in order to get your diploma, anyway, when I got there she was already known to other nurses, a scrawny big eyed female cat, she was ugly to be honest, pitiful even, lived Lords knows where, but visited daily at lunch hours in order to get leftovers.
It was during covid and people barely went to the clinic, I had to put a small comunity in quarantine, so when I arrived at the clinic late in the afternoon, there she was, I had very little to offer to eat, but a small bag of chips was more than enough to gain her trust. Eventually she visited daily, first one to arrive, and wouldn't shut up if I hadn't feed her yet, she still has the same meows.
When she gained some weight she barely left my side, basically was my emotional support throughout the year, people often called her the third nurse, so, ever since, she's been my favorite nurse.
